"Oaklands" is truely a unique place to spend your Christmas and New Year, The house is fully decorated inside and out for the duration of December and January, and the cosy lounges with open flame fires offer a warmth and welcome that you will enjoy.

The surrounding countryside and breathtaking views take on a wonderful wintry feel, and if you are lucky enough to be here when it has snowed, the whole area is very picturesque, a true Christmas postcard.

The walks around the Holme valley in the winter are also not to be missed and are easily accessible even if it as snowed of course! There is simply no better place to spend your Christmas and New Year celebrations.
